Mexico
We met up in Mexico City for a meeting at the Canadian Embassy and spent a couple of days eating good food and enjoying ourselves.
We also got the news that they are shining favourably on our application.
And there was much rejoicing!!

Huge cathedral in the town square.

And again.

This is one of the entrances to the Mexican version of Parliament.

Another building.

More buildings.

Me in the central square.

The cathedral again.

The Mexican Parliament again.

Walking downtown.

Beautiful architecture.

Sammy Whammy Pookins at Sanborn's Restaurant.

Inside the restaurant.

Me in the restaurant.

I look so good he had to take it twice.

It really was beautiful.

I just can't get enough.

Phew that took a long time.
More of downtown.

I think this was the opera house.

Gorgeous.

Moving along.

If you look closely, these mounted police are wearing sombreros.

Another beautiful building.

A monument to someone. Sorry about my memory thing.

Some modern architecture.

And my honey!

And my honey again.

I love these trees.

And more architecture.

Closer up.

The meeting was a success. We stopped at Starbuck's for a latte.

Sam' Aunt Magdalena and her brother Lalo.

Me and my blurry baby.

Celebrating in the hotel lounge with some cheap champagne.
